Time format error when converting to excel

Hi!!

I am having a problem with my report When converting it to excel.

My compagnie uses SAP R/3 and when i do list~~-Save/Send~~--~~File~~---spreadsheet

In excel instead of giving me :30 it gives me 29:59:00. Can someone help me. I am new to SAP and i would like to have as much details as possible.

Hi,

As far as i know, the time format is correct only. you can check the time from the menu->system-status of any screen in you SAP.

But, i think the value 29 hours is something strange. So can you please check what value is there in that time field when it is actually displayed as an output. Is it same there??

Thank you for your sugestion but this has not solved my problem.

All my settings seem to be ok in the time settings!

I was reading on other threads and someone had mentionned using a CONVERSION_EXIT_TSTRN_OUTPUT.

How do i use such a tool??

In the field catalog of the ALV you need to pass TSTRN in the field fieldcatalog-CONVEXIT

I beleave this is happening bcoz of the setting in Excell.. nothing to do with SAP regarding this....

Can you please guide me through this since i have rarely usued such fonctions. What is a ALV??

Hi Mohamad,

please do some search.

[SAP List Viewer for SAP GUI|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/EN/00/3432392f1f3110e10000000a114084/frameset.htm] is the standard tool for all list output in SAP since 5 - 10 years.

For your time problem there is no answer as you do not post what is in your list: 00:00:30 for 30 seconds?

I am refering to time.

the :30 refers to minutes.

I have just the main toolbar and nothing else.

After reading i have discovered that it is not a ALV report!!

Can you please share how your output looks like. what is the variable that is printing this value and its attributes etc...?
