Maintaining a profile without using PFCG

Good Morning My Friends,

I'm trying to create a profile without using PFCG, until this moment I can create the profile and also assign to it the transactions.

Come to the problem.

1 - The moment that I assign transactions to the profile they bring some commitments, I want that they were not assigned automatically, but for my RFC.

2 - I have not found until now no function, BAPI or anything to give authorizations to this profile.

3 - Setting up of such commitments as well up till now have not found anything that does that, that is, configure the objects, fields and values of the Commitments of the Profile.

I know there are some tables that show me all the profiles and authorizations that I could change it directly to the table AGR_1250 example, but I doubt if this would be the best thing to do?

Hi Lana;

You can use SU53 tcode after get problem.

SU53 give us which auth.object and values we needs.

thanks for answering me, but I want to see not only permits but also tender.

I now know that the transaction PFCG, uses the table "AGR_1250" and "AGR_1251" to save your authorization data.

I did not want to change the tables directly, and did not want to use Batch Input.

wish I could use a function or something.

You can examine SUSR* FMs under the SUSB Func.groups.

Hello Deivison,

I now know that the transaction PFCG, uses the table "AGR_1250" and "AGR_1251" to save your authorization data.

If you debug the profile generation, you will find calls to the following FMs:

PRGN_1250_READ_AUTH_DATA

PRGN_1250_SAVE_AUTH_DATA

PRGN_1251_READ_FIELD_VALUES

PRGN_1251_SAVE_FIELD_VALUES

PRGN_1252_READ_ORG_LEVELS

PRGN_1252_SAVE_ORG_LEVELS

The changes are then written to the database using the FM PRGN_UPDATE_DATABASE.

All these FMs are part of the FuGr. PRGN responsible for profile generation!

I'll suggest you debug the profile generation part to get a better understanding of how these FMs work in sync.
