    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since synchronous RFC triggers database commit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me correct the statement both synchronous as well as asynchronous RFCs trigger an implicit DB commit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SAP documentation on synch-RFCs states: &lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the content of &lt;EM&gt;dest&lt;/EM&gt; is equal to the constant space, then the addition DESTINATION is ignored and a normal call CALL FUNCTION &lt;EM&gt;func&lt;/EM&gt; is executed. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please note that you should not use the DESTINATION addition or use DESTINATION space. DESTINATION none will start the FM as an RFC in the same app server.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
