See Note 509898 - BAPI enhancement concept and Unicode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As note says:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;
These data structures must only contain character-like data

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Experts,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are having zfield in delivery item (appended zfield in LIKP table). Our requirement is to save data of this zfield via BAPI. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we are using the BAPI BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC, by passing the zfield to the structure u2018Extension2u2019&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We found while debugging that the data is getting populated in Extension2 but not updated in the table.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kindly provide your valuable inputs to update the table.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Appreciate your &lt;EM&gt;&amp;lt;sign of impatience removed by moderator&amp;gt;&lt;/EM&gt; Response.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BR&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sree&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Edited by: Thomas Zloch on Jun 30, 2011 10:08 AM&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
