Error in one column while exporting data from ALV to Excel sheet

Hi,

While exporting the data from ALV to excel sheet,we find that just one column has its last digit deleted in the Excel sheet.

So if the ALV has the following data:

Column1

1234

2345

3456

4567

After export to excel the data is:

Column1

123

234

345

456

Can anyone suggest what could be the reason for this & a possible solution for the same.

once check the coloum width of the excell sheet after you exporte from alv

Hi,

In the ALV, check the title name in field catalog of this particular column. Change this to a bit more lengthy one. In your example if it is a 3 char length then change to 4 or 5 char lengthy.

Or else try setting the OUTPUT LENGTH in the field catalog also.

I have added the OUTPUT LENGTH field valus to the variable,still we get the same error.

Any suggestions for this issue??
