Graphical screen painter Not working

Hi:

When I am trying to access Graphical screen Painter in the transaction SE51,an error message is getting displayed with text "No response from graphical screen painter-exiting".

And Alpha numeric editor is getting opened instead of GUI Editor.

Can any One help me out with a solution.

Re-install your SapGui or download a recent (supported) version at [SAP Software Download Center|http://service.sap.com/swdc].

I have re-installed the softwre.But still the problem persists.

- Are you sure that "Development tools" was checked ?

- What are your version of R3/ECC and SapGui ?

- You could remove SAPGUI and then instll it again if re-install don't solve the problem

- Did you use the Graphical Screen Painter before on this PC ?

I don't have the latest copy of SAP GUI.I am using 4.7EE(IDES).I have uninstalled and re-installed SAP GUI.

When I am trying to download for the link which sent by You,it is asking for userid and password.

Is there any other alternative for downloading SAP GUI.

Hi.,

In SE51 ., goto Utilities -> settings -> and under screen painter tab check Graphical Layout Editor Checkbox.

if problem persists., uncheck it and check it again and restart SAP GUI.

-I did that...But actually my SAP GUI is corrupted it seems.

-Where can I get the SAP Front-End GUI.

-Mr.Raymond Has given a Link,but it requires authorizations.

-Reply me if you have any idea.
