Hi all,

I would like to send Idoc from HR system to mini master of FI system.

The thing is, when I do message type HRMD_A, it's including all fields in IT0002, let's say I do not want to send SSN to FI system, so in that case, on FI system (receiving system) I need to manipulate IDOC segment for SSN field (PERID) before it's updating on mini master side (for example CLEAR SSN field). What user exit can do that?

Any thought? Thanks,

I suspect the inbound process code in your FI system will be the function module IDOC_INPUT_HRMD. There are several enhancement possibilities (CMOD and BAdI) in that function module, check those to see which one will be the best to edit the IDoc.

BAdI HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC or Customer-function 003 both look promising.

Hi,

If you don't get any user exits, check if you can use the conversion rule of idoc to set the field to be cleared to a constant value.

Below are the steps.

1. Maintain conversion rule (BD62).

2. Assign the conversion rule to the message type (BD55).

3. Implement the conversion rule (BD79). ---> Here you can set the field value for SSN as a constant value. Then the outbound idoc will populate the constant value set here as SSN.

Regards,

Soumya.

Thanks guys,

Soumya : I didnt know we can do that, I will try that out.

I found EXIT_SAPLRHA0_001 as an user exit that I can manipulate Idoc before it comes OUT. Not sure how to work with the Badi since I've never work with Badi

Edited by: Ben Boman on Apr 19, 2011 9:29 PM
