BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Am using this bapi creating goods receipts others but accouting document no is not getting generated,canone guide me what need to be passed.

not enough information. Provide more details like where are you using and what have done and what are the return messages after the bapi call etc

Hi Sampath,

am using the BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for creating the 501 movement type for that material document is getting generated but finance accounting document not getting generated.

We're talking here in "ABAP General", are you sure you can rule out any configuration or functional cause? Not all goods movements are supposed to create accounting documents, if I remember correctly. Better speak to somebody with ERP MM knowledge about the problem. Also check the SCN forums for this topic.

I agree with Thomas. Talk to MM person or if you can create manually, create manually and see if accounting document is generated for 501 movement type.

what is the BAPI return parameters ? i mean, what did you see in the return of the bapi. You should see info,warning and/or error message if any success/failure.

Dear Sampath/thomas,

Bapi is not returning any errors,and also checked with functional consultant manually its getting posted in the mb1c and migo. Please guide me what need to be passed for that one..

Hi Santosh,

If you are able to post the document manually and The BAPI is not returning any error messages in the RETURN structure,

Can you confirm if you are doing a COMMIT WORK using BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT and not passing an "X" to the input parameter "TESTRUN".

Hi Santhosh,

as per my knowledge this can be done using enhance ment implementation.

in your BAPI : BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, export the document using EXPORT statement.

you need to create enhancemet implementation for BADI's

MB_QUAN_CHECK_BADI

MB_MIGO_BADI

import the above exported doc no here..

free memory id.
