My requirement is to do reverse shading in the form which is printing via ZEBRA printer. Reverse shading in the sense it should print black over white and vice versa. I tried the following,

1.created a print control ZLRY in SPAD,

2. assigned them to the ZEBRA device with value ^LRY,

3. in the window where the Text is to be printed in such a way i created a COMMAND node and inserted it with the ZLRY printer control. Also gave the attribute S_LZPL_SETUP value ^LRY.

But now even then after doing all these I am not getting the desired output of reverse shading?

Am I missing something?

Hi Sharan,

I guess I have a rather ugly solution for this. Create a smartform style with font in white colour. In your smartform, have two copies of each Text; one with white font and other with normal, black font. Set a condition in each of them, such that if a printer (SSFCOMPOP-TDDEST) is A, print in white font, and print in black, if in B.

I hope your smartform is not very unwieldy.

make the font of the output as white.....select the text to printed.....go to output options tab..... choose shading as black.....it should work

This only work if your printer is a color printer, in ZEBRA and other B&W printers, don't work...
