Drop down handler in a table control - query on having varying values

Hi,

I've created a dropdown handler and attached an internal table to a column in the table control in the field catalog to display values available in the internal table. Now, I have a necessity to change the values in the drop down based on the value in the row. For example, for the first row, i need values X, Y and Z in the drop down based on a certain check and in the second row i need X and Y only. Is this possible?

Hi Tabraiz,

You can assign a user command to the drop down box. And then check the user command in the LAI and write the code for displaying the drop down list.

You can use statement GET CURSOR and get the current line and then using this current line number you can read the corresponding line from the internal table sing the statement READ TABLE.
