Error in passing Internal table to smartform

I am passing an internal table to a smartform through a driver program. But the program gets terminated due to an exception that say- Invalid parameter in call function. The parameter listed is the internal table name.

How do i rectify it.?

Check it in the smartform, in form interface whether the table is defined in the TABLES tab.

Also check whether you are calling the function module for the correct smartform.

I have checked it already. I have mentioned it in TABLES tab and also am calling the correct smartform.

Hi Prafull,

Please post the interface of the smartform FM, including the import/export/changing/tables parameters, along with their references.

Example: Import: Sales_ord type vbeln....

Check if both the Dirver program table and Smartform table are of same structure..

Hi Prafull,

I guess its a kind of formatting error. Simply Make sure the order of the fields and its datatype of both the internal table are same. When the table width exceeds, then also it will throw dump.

Hi,

Check where there you created Table Type in Se11 (Data Element) for the Corresponding Structure.

And use that in Form Interface of smart form , in the Tables Tab for the parameter Declaration .

eg parameter_name type tabletype_Name.

And Pass the internal Table to the smart form function module in the Driver Program.

Halo Praful,

Normally this error occurs when the type of the Internal table that you passed to the Function Module is different from that which is defined in the Function Module Interface.

So please cross check the types
