Issue with saving Custom fields in MARC table

Hello all,

I have created a custom field using append structure in MARC table & added the same field in MRP2 view by attaching the subcreen where the program is generated using SPRO - > Go to Logistics-General à Material Master à Configuring the material master and execute u2018Create Program for Customized Sub screenu2019 .

I have written code in PAI of the program to save the value to MARC table & it happens when I remain in the MRP2 view & click on save .if in case i click on save in some other view or some other tab the values are not updated in MARC table.

Please suggest correct way to achieve the same except for EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 snce MARC is only importg parameter .

The problem is that when user is going not able to udnerstand that data has been changed!

You will get one function module 'MATERIAL_CHANGE_CHECK' which determines that something has been changed or not.

Here either you need to use implicit enhancement / change the FM to call your own to guide SAP that something has been changed in customize tab!

You need explore a lot...good luck.
