Table to link text object types to object source tables?

i.e. for a given text object type like VBBP - is there a link to determine that the text object is the concatenated key from tables VBAK and VBAP?

Hi David,

For sales related transactions (and possible other ones) you can determine the key by checking text analysis determination function.

To do this:

go to the text (header or item level).

In the text overview screen click on the icon at the right-hand bottom of the screen which looks like a piece of paper on which the U.S. constitution could have been written :-)...

It will show the text object plus the format of the key when expanding the tree and change view.

PS. Another way would be to do a trace (ST05) and check in the analysis the key with which the STXH table is being queried.
