Dear Experts,

I have design an alv report output as below,

********************************************************EMPLOYEE

DATE***************EMPLOYEE 1**********EMPLOYEE 2**********EMPLOYEE 3******EMPLOYEE 4

NAME**SPACE*** AGE***NAME*AGE*************NAME**AGE************NAME***AGE****

Please ingore the *** in above output.. As i faced problem with formatting I have added it.

In above output employee1, employee 2 .... columns are dynamic. Based on user inputs no of employees will be determined at runtime. Please let me know how to produce the headings in output like EMPLOYEE below which I have to display dynamic employee1, employee 2 columns. Again under each employee I need to display columns such as NAME, AGE. I searched sdn for threads. But I could not find a thread which has multiple heading like the one above. How to create multiple lines of heading.

Standard ALV techniques don't support multiple ALV headings

Bharath,

It is not possible to display two lines of headings in a single ALV report.

For this purpose we have to go with LIST Display.

So using write statement to display to output is the only option ..?
