TCode Updation in T020 table

Hi,

I have copied the standard program of FB05 to a 'Z' Program and while creating a TCode i am getting a error Tcode not defined. While analysing that error, its checking for that Tcode in the table T020. Please let me know under what condition the Tcode created will get saved in the table T020.

Hello Sowmmya,

The t020 is FI/AM Transaction Control table which SAP has maint. Based on this it controls many other things... So if you want to get ur tcode working u will have to create an entry in this table. There is no condition in which this tcode is saved. U will have to do manually. Copy the entry of FB05 and create new entry.

Well internally what table it updates, I don't think we should be bothered about it.

Can you tell us how are you creating a T code? Is the copied program a Dialog / report program?

Hi,

I have created TCode in SE93 and the program copied is a Dialog Program.Its a copy of standard transaction program - FB05.

Well looks like what Abhijit was saying for FB05 you might have to maintain the transaction manually in the table.

You can probably make a similar entry for your custom one as in FB05

But generally its not.
