Hello friends,

I have created an LSMW that uses the direct input program RMDATIND to extend the sales views of material master data. In the field-mapping, I have passed value "/" for the material master basic data view and also "/" to the weight unit field(BRGEW). My intention is not to modify the existing client level data and to extend the sales view with new sales area.

After executing the LSMW, the problem I am facing is the weight unit value(of basic data view) is modified as "KG". However the above issue is raised only when the exisitng weight unit value is initial. I am not passing any value but still it is updating the value.

Could anyone help me to identify the issue.

regards,

Ramineni.

Hi,

Perhaps you can check the following:

1. Please check whether you have defaulted any values for the weight in your user master with the parameter ID.

2. If not, please code the same; read the data in the table field and if initial pass initial; else pass the data from the table.

Hope this helps,

Best Regards, Murugesh

Hello murugesh,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried option2 already and it says "The field MARA-GEWEI is defined as a required field; it does not contain an entry". So I want to try option1. Could you please tell me where to check the default value.

Thanks,

Ramineni
