BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST - exchange rate difference

Dear all,

For some reason would like like to post with difference exchange rate for the incoming payment. Would like to know if the BAPI can do what FB05 doing right now for the exchange rate difference.

Pass to BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST

Line Currency Amount Exchg Rate Eqvi. Local Currency

1 USD $500 7.8 $3900

2 USD -$500 7.78 $3980

Right now if using t-code FB05 it would automatically generate an Exchange Rate Realise of local currency $10 to balance the posting. However I don't know if BAPI can support that.

Have googled for calling SET_FACI_FLAGS with MULTI_EXG_RATE = 'X' however I still got the error F5-735 FI interface: Small difference $10 cannot be distributed.

Dear Das,,

It is possible with the BAPI, however I can't access the source codes right now. The solution is to add another entry to the negative lines (when you detect it) and leave the amount 0.00 and it will correct for you.
