pressing back button return to default tab screen

Hello guru,

I have a tab strip with three tab screen. Each screen is a selection screen. while open the third tab screen and executes its selection screen the data displayed in alv. When click upon the back button of this alv the control return to default tabscreen

In my case it is tab one, but my requirement is when user execute 3rd tab screen and press back button then it return to 3rd tab screen and same for others.

Hi Rocky,

Your requirement can be achieved by using a simple, case statement.

You can use the case statement & catch the user command, & according to the tab write the BACK command as you require,

So that the BACK will work independent of tabs,

But he would already have 'BACK' processing; otherwise, his code wouldn't do anything. The 'BACK' processing isn't correct.

To the poster, what code is in your 'BACK' process and what code is in the PBO of your main screen for tab initialization? You're most likely setting the control's 'pressed_tab' value to the same value everytime in PBO, instead of remembering/setting the previous value.
