Bapi with a language different from the logon language

Hallo.

I need to do a BAPI ZTEST with a CALL TRANSACTION on IE01

The external user that uses the BAPI logon in EN (English)

But I need to execute the CAL Transcation in IE01 with Italian language.

How could I overwrite SY-LANGU ?

No, the external application (TIBCO) can't change it to Italian, beacause the Tibco team said that there could be any problem about the date format.

save_langu = sy-langu.
SET LOCALE LANGUAGE 'IT'.

Yes I tried.

This is the code:

FORM bdc_transaction USING tcode.

DATA xlangu TYPE sy-langu.

xlangu = sy-langu.

IF sy-langu NE 'I'.

SET LOCALE LANGUAGE 'I'.

ENDIF.

CALL TRANSACTION tcode USING bdcdata

MODE 'A' "CTUMODE "per visualizzare passi della registrazione

MODE 'N' "CTUMODE

UPDATE 'S'. "CUPDATE

MESSAGES INTO itab.

SET LOCALE LANGUAGE xlangu.

ENDFORM. "BDC_TRANSACTION

but it doesn't work.

It uses always the logon language (EN) instead of the italian.

Why this?

Hi,

Set locale language will not work since your using BDC. Isn't there any way to transfer the language into your BDC data table?

Else you can only change the language by setting the sy-langu field to Italian (which was already suggested previously).
