SIS is Sales Information System, part of LIS, Logistics Information System, and is a older reporting tool within SAP. Generally, the underlying tables are summaries at daily, weekly, monthly, annual level, etc. I would guess that you should be able to find some information on SCN or within SAP's Help portal.

Before learning creation of update rules, etc, I want to know what is SIS , why I am using. How my update rules are related to SIS and how it helps to populate data in SIS Structure.

Thanks in Advance
