      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Experts,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How to store trailing spaces in an internal table?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried with ' ' and ` ` but these 2 are not working with trailing spaces.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i want to store output in internal table like 'this is like         ' but after generating txt file in ftp server using FTP_R3_TO_SERVER I am getting output like 'this is like'.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;A search of the forum would probably get answers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you're writing to a file on apps server, look at your transfer statement help...you can specify length of the string to be written out, and for me that preserves trailing spaces.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
