Hi,

I need to automate the process of datasets,

Put the name and directory and also a flag for processing in a transparent table.

multiple threads may need to read the flag in the transparent table to see if file is been processed, processing, etc.

Is there any standard functionality or something similar in the standard system.

it's similar to the job administration or monitoring in SAP PI od solman

BUT if you don't have PI, you have to create your own Z-table to administrate your interfaces.

I'd handle it with different states and an error handling.

use function modules to fill and administrate this table.
