Generating address number

Hi experts,

I have a requirement to generate address number and should store in ADRC and T499S. I have written a code with

INSERT command to store, but when i check the entry in v_t499S system is throughing ABAP dump. Could any one help me,

is there any standart FM to do this.

I don't know how your code looks like and i don;t know what the exact dump is.

But as a rule of thumb: never ever update any SAP tables yourself. Look for any standard functions to do that.

You should not insert the records directly into ADRC. See the documentation of function group SZA0 (Business Address Services (w/o Dialog)) , which explains the methods to maintain address records. You can find some sample code which may be helpful.

Can you test with transaction MEAN? This transaction create an ADRC address but you cannot assign the address number. The system will assing one address id for each one.<br>
