Hi Madhu,

The problem which you are facing is because of the fact that, if you remove the BDCRECX01 include, then you have to write a code to insert the records into internal table of BDCDATA structure type. Please have a look at the below mentioned code.

        PERFORM bdc_dynpro USING 'SAPLMGMM' '0060'.
        PERFORM bdc_field USING 'BDC_CURSOR' 'RMMG1-MATNR'.
        PERFORM bdc_field USING 'BDC_OKCODE' '/00'.
        PERFORM bdc_field USING 'RMMG1-MATNR' ls_mat-matnr.

For the above perform statements, you must define the subroutines BDC_DYNPRO and BDC_FIELD explicitly which would have not been required if you use BDCRECX01 include since this include already has defintion for the above mentioned subroutines.

FORM BDC_DYNPRO USING PROGRAM DYNPRO.

CLEAR IT_BDCDATA.
IT_BDCDATA-PROGRAM = PROGRAM.
IT_BDCDATA-DYNPRO = DYNPRO.
IT_BDCDATA-DYNBEGIN = 'X'.
APPEND IT_BDCDATA.

ENDFORM.

FORM BDC_FIELD USING FNAM FVAL.

IF NOT FVAL IS INITIAL.

CLEAR IT_BDCDATA.
IT_BDCDATA-FNAM = FNAM.
IT_BDCDATA-FVAL = FVAL.
APPEND IT_BDCDATA.

ENDIF.

ENDFORM.

I hope it will clarify your doubt and will help you in some way to solve your problem. Please come up with your query if any.

Cheers

VJ

Hi,

I am getting an ERROR with a pop-up ("Start screen does not exist in batch input data") when I press F8 button in BDC CALL TRANSACTION Process. For 'XK01' transaction, through RECORDING method I have done this process.

But I have used include 'BDCRECX1' with-in this program then I did not get the above ERROR. since I have written the definition of the subroutines manually (without used the Include program 'BDCRECX1') , then only I am getting the above ERROR.

I have verified some posted forums, in that the reason would be the screen sequence .

Generally we have to create the sample data first through Recording method and then we get the screen sequence, I think it is the system generated sequesnce, so pls. tell me the way you know to resolve this ERROR.

Thank you.

Madhu.
