Text Conversion Issue after MDMP Unicode Conversion

Hello,

We have recently upgraded from 4.5B MDMP system to Ecc6 Unicode system.Post upgrade We are expereincing language rendering issues due to which

data is not rightly reflected.

When I am viewing the Customer purchase order number in VF03 i am able

to junk characters after MDMP to Unicode Conversion.

We have gone live two days back. Kindly suggest for a solution.

Is it possible to find out the langauage assigned for this entry (

table VBKD-BSTKD ) as the language would have been assigned either

using SPUMG or SUMG.

Since it is not in SUMG list, How to maintain this table in SUMG manually now?

Hi Vinay,

you have to repair the entries manually in SUMG.

See the Unicode conversion guide on SUMG - manual repair (SUMG > Manual repair > insert (+ symbol)).

If the table is large, you need to find a proper condition to display the according entry.

After that, you can in the free repair screen e.g. check the entry via Button: "Display all combinations" and find out the proper "current language" and "target language".
