Vendor Master: How to make CIN fields mandatory

Hello,

We have activated CIN Details tab in Vendor Master.

Now, we want to make CST number and LST number as mandatory fields (in CIN Details tab).

How it can be done?

Hi Niteen,

For this requirement you can create a screen variant using t-code SHD0.

there is no standard configuration available for this requirement.

For Cin details we cannot make mandatory in our std configuration.

With the use of abaper you can make it and use.

Hi,

We have the same requirement. i.e. we want fileds in CIN Details mandatory while creating vendor centrally. We used SHD0 and created new screen varient. But the problem is that it needs the cin details screen open to operate as desired. The user is able to save the new vendor without entering CIN details as he is not opening the CIN tabs using CIN Details button.

Can we make screen varient such that it will open the CIN Details screen after pressing enter in XK01?

HI RKNP,

Vendor creation and along CIN details is not possible in standard.

you have create vendor first and after that you have to enter CIN details.

above in standard functionality.
