Hi,

I had created a TMG having one field as BUKRS.Now I want to have a check on this field so that I can validate the entries based on the T001 entries. This way only the Company codes that are exisiting in this instance can be maintained in the table. For this I had created a subroutine using the EVENT 01.Now in this subroutine I will write a select query on t001 comparing it with the table entires that are maintained. If a wrong company code is entered it should shown an error message and stay on the same screen.

1.How to capture the details that are entered by the User.I had checked the internal tables TOTAL and EXTRACT.I am finding the entries in this but it seems I have to use offset to get the details.Isn't there any internal table which will capture the details fieldwise.

2.I want to check only the new entries or changes entries and not the whole table everytime the user SAVES.I think there should be some internal table within the include LSVIMF14 or some other includes of the function group. To be prcise any internal table which will hold only the modified entries and new entries.(Internal tables within the standard includes of TMG)

Do anyone here can throw some light on the above.

Thanks,

K.Kiran

regenerate the TMG again -> i dont think you need to regenerate the view again as only technical settings have been changed.

What is generate proposal and other options that we see while setting the check table like cardinality, foregin key type etc -> this depends on the reuirement.
