Hi Guys,

I am getting this error, when i try to test the connection in SM59.

Logon Connection Error

Error Details Error when opening an RFC connection

Error Details ERROR: timeout during allocate

Error Details LOCATION: SAP-Gateway on host NDNT77.abc.com / sapgw15

Error Details DETAIL: no connect of TP sapdp05 from host NDNT46 after 20 sec

I believe this implies that there is problem at the host to which you are trying to connect.

Do i need to create background users, rfc destinations and partner profiles manually or it will be automatically generated when i create a source system in BI?
