problem in entry check help !!!!!

Hello gurus

i created a ztable1 where i taken two fields first field is customer id which is primary key of ztable1 and another one is customer name .

i created one more table called table ztable2 with two fields customer id and customer occupation i made customer id as(FOREGIN KEY) in ztable2

i made it through the process by clcking KEY BUTTON where i asked for check table name i put there ztable1 and set customer id as

foreign key.

and activated both table

i entered rexord for table1 001,002,003 it works fine

but in ztable2 when i eneterd a record for customer id 005 the record is saved in ztable2. it doesn't check whether there is corrrsponding record availbale in ztable1 or not (i have no data corresponding to customer id 005)

what is the solutions please suggest me.

hello sandeep sir can i fill the cadinality field 1:1 for desrired result

I check the cardinality but now also it doesn't check for existing record for ztable1.

please help me out.

Hello ,

When you press the foriegn key button a window will be opened where your are going to put the table name and field name.

Please check in the same screen there is a subscreen (SCREEN CHECK) there is a check box in that screen (CHECK REQUIRED)

have you checked it??
