I have a program in DE language and I need to change to PT.

Is there any transaction?

Yo can try with Traduction Tool at SE38 t-code:

SE38 -> Go To -> Traduction

But, if you need to translate the layout I'm sorry but I think you will have to do it by hand.

If you only want to translate the program call transaction SE63 or look for translation in SE38 menu.

If you want to change the original language, connect with target language, call SE38 and change attributes of program, at popup choice "change original language".

(In both case you should translate every short/long texts in abap program, user interface and screen painter, if you used DDIC reference, check also their translations)

Hi Clayton,

Goto --> SE38 transaction --> click on " GOTO " in menu bar --> Click on "TRANSLATION"

Screen can be appeared with

Original language

Target language

Then change the language in Target language .

Thanks for all.

I tried to change in the se38 in language "DE" but it did not work. It showed the msg "Sprache auf Server nicht verfügbar".

I do not know the German langague bu I think it is no good.

What should I do?

It just works from the "DE" to "EN". But it is ok.

Seems that language german/deutsch "DE" is not installed on your server, check language configuration via transaction SMLT (or Customizing SPRO or transaction SNL3).
