Implicit Enhancement Vs Modification Asst

Hi Experts,

I need to put some custom code in a standard SAP INCLUDE prog. and this INCLUDE does have MODIFICATION ASSISTANT.

By using this some people inserted the code in this INCLUDE, already.

Now, am trying to put my code in this standard SAP INCLUDE program by using IMPLICIT ENHANCEMENTS, I can see YELLOW lines, and followed as shown in SDN- [http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/HowToDoImplicitEnhancement], like

getting pop-up, given a Z name to enhancement, given a Transport, but, its not showing up in the code with ENHANCEMENT-END ENHANCEMENT!!

So, if a prog, does hv modification assistant, then is it not possible to do implicit enhamncements?

Hi,

Well nothing like that. You can very well create an implicit enhancement irrespective of Modification assitant. You need to select the orange line & then click on Implicit Enhancement => Create.

There are some objects which are related to BASIS eg. RSVARDOC_610 for which SAP wont allow to do any enhancement. If you try to create an enhancement, then it will throw an error message.

Please check if even you are getting any error message at the status bar. It appears as a information message !
