application server having gap and not coming data exactly

hi,

i have issue with application server outbound

Actually i have total 30 colums in my internal table with size 75char(col1(75) type c),

when i am passing this to file, my file getting open in my application server but i am getting

25 colums in my file reaming 5 colums not coming. i have total 30 colums data. what is the

problem for that, why it is not coming and i am getting more gap between each colums.

please any one help me out this issue, as soon as possible. thanks in advance.

ex: application server server output like below for your refrence.

col1 col2 col3 col4 col5 -

col25

aaa bbb ccc dddd eee

111 333 444 5555 666

how to reduce the gap between each colum, can we compress it or not

please any one provide me with sample code. plz

Did you check the file in AL11 or downloaded the file using CACS_FILE_COPY or CG3Y ?

In AL11 there is a limitation on the maximum number of characters which can be displayed.

i checked in al11 , my file is there, i am facing the problem in data . if i have 30 colums data, i am getting 25 colums only

i think each colums having 75 char length, thats y it is not coming. and i am getting more gap between each two colums.

if you know how to solve the issue , please let me know with sample code.

Please remember AL11 is just for display purpose.

To view the entire file download using CACS_FILE_COPY or CG3Y.

While transfering the data to the application server, you may specify the length as well.

Press F1 Help on the keyword 'TRANSFER', after the OPEN DATASET statement.

Also, i am not sure if the length exceeds 256 characters, SAP will display it or not on the screen. So better use the tcode CG3Z for the same. Also, in order to view the complete file you'll have to download file. You can do so by following the path: LIST>>SAVE/SEND>>File.

HI HARSH,

i did what as you told to me, i dowlnloaded data, but i am getting output wat data i am getting in application server as it is.

i am not getting that misssing coloums data.

as you told how to give length when transforming the file, can u provide me syntax for that, i tried but i didn't get .
