EXCHANGE_RATE idoc posting failed

Hi,

I am trying to post an idoc for message type EXCHANGE_RATE with the following data.

RATE_TYPE 1001

FROM_CURR AUD

TO_CURRNCY PLN

VALID_FROM 20100902

EXCH_RATE 2.8208

FROM_FACTOR 1

TO_FACTOR 1

But, it gives a staus as 51 with a message "Line 1 : Valid system settings have not been made for 1001 AUD PLN"

Do i have to have any settings in place for this?

please enlighten.

It mean no have configuration of exchange rate type '1001' on your system.

It might be missing Ratio. Doublecheck if Ratio for this exchange rate(from AUD to PLN, type 1001) is already setup and valid from is less or equal to 20100902.

You need to maintain the configuration setting for the translation ration for the currencies shown in the error message. The path for the resolution in GTS system is
