Domain and Value Table

I have created a domain(zmassn) and data element(zmassn) with same name. There is a value table (zmassntxt) that should appear as F4 help for the element MASSN or Action Type on the screen of a custom infotype. However, only fixed values that I specify in the domain are getting displayed in the F4 help. I want the contents of table zmassntxt to be displayed as F4 help for MASSN. However, this is not working.

Can somebody tell me why the value table is not displaying F4 help? At present I get an error "No Input Help is available" when I use the value table.

Hi,

If the Fixed values are Available then in the F4 Help only fixed values are displayed.

If you want the F4 for contents of table zmassntxt then remove fixed values and and assign value table in the Domain and

put check table in the dataelemet fields in table it will work.

02 Hiring

...

For the domain, when i give the value table name as ZMASSNTXT, then it throws an error "No Input Help Avaialable".

I do not need F4 help for the table, instead the table provides values for F4 help.

I hope this was not confusing.

Hi ,

In the Domain level do you maintained text for the Fixed value then so check in the table 'DD07V' for the domain.

Check the Function Module 'DOMAIN_VALUE_GET'.

I created search help for the domain and added it to the screen of the infotype using PM01. That solved the problem.
