Regarding search help

HI Experts,

I have a requirement to add a field(mstbr) on the standard elementry search help(premk) and also perform a control check on that field belongs to pa0001 table, the check is with reference to pa0001-pernr, i need to check that whenever the pernr is not there for mstbr in pa0001 then raise a message say 'invalid personnel'.

the main requirrement is to control the pernr with respect to mstbr.

i know its not fully clear in some way hazzy but can anyone tell me how to work with the search help enhancemets specifically how to code and validate using search help exit.

Hi,

Add your required filled in search help and implement search help exit. You can refer any function module start with F4IF_SHLP_EXIT* and take a reference of any FM.

You can create a implementation for BADI HRPAD00_PAPM and implement your filter logic.
