ALV Report - Issue

I developed one ALV Report using the Grid Class. However, after the report is displayed, I am not getting any standard menus in the Application Tool bar. That is I am getting Only System and Help.

The problem 1 - In the Application Tool bar I am getting only two menu options - System and Help

problem 2 - The title is displayed as SAP. Not the program name.

So I am not able to come out of the program. Kindly help me to get the standard tool bar in the application menu and how to get the report tile instead of 'SAP.

You have to set the PF-Status and title to fix this.

Thank you for the quick response. Yes I did crete the PF_STATUS. However it does not seems to be working. I do not know where I am missing. Can you please provide some example for PF_STATUS. Also let me know how to get rid of that default heading as 'SAP' instead i want to print my report name.

Hi Venkat,

Your using "REUSE_ALV_GRID_ DISPLAY" Function Module?? If so then you have to get Application Tool Bar

automatically.. and that Grid Title you can set it by using EVENT - TOP-OF-PAGE or you can set the title in *GRID_TITLE parameter of this FM by assigning the name you want.

Let Me know whether ur using this FM or wat else??

Hi You have to give some name in the exporting parameter I_CALLBACK_PF_STATUS_SET = ' ' & later open a subroutine of the same name as follows :-



FORM f4200_pf_status_set USING i_extab TYPE slis_t_extab.
REFRESH i_extab.
PERFORM f4210_exclude_fcodes CHANGING i_extab.
SET PF-STATUS 'STANDARD' OF PROGRAM 'SAPLSALV' EXCLUDING i_extab.
ENDFORM.


FORM f4210_exclude_fcodes USING i_extab TYPE slis_t_extab.
DATA: ws_fcode TYPE slis_extab.
CLEAR ws_fcode.
ws_fcode = '&EB9'. " Call up Report.
APPEND ws_fcode TO i_extab.
ws_fcode = '&ABC'. " ABC Analysis.
APPEND ws_fcode TO i_extab.
ws_fcode = '&NFO'. " Info Select.
APPEND ws_fcode TO i_extab.
ws_fcode = '&LFO'. " Information.

CALL METHOD gr_pr_table->set_table_for_first_display

EXPORTING is_layout = gs_layout

CHANGING it_outtab = it_disp_purchase_requesition

it_fieldcatalog = gt_fieldcat.

This of Grid Class cl_gui_alv_grid

IN PBO module write like below.

SET PF-STATUS '9101'.

SET TITLEBAR '101'.

Double click on 9101 and 101.

For title: Give the title name what u want.

For PF status: Give the function keys like NEXT, SAVE,EXIT, etc.

Activate the PF status and Title

Write this in screen you have created .douuble click on each module and write below code

MODULE status_9000 OUTPUT.

SET PF-STATUS 'ZPF9000'.

gv_save_ok = gv_ok_code.

CASE gv_save_ok.

when back button is clicked

WHEN c_value_back.

LEAVE TO SCREEN c_value_0.

when exit button is clicked

WHEN c_value_exit.

LEAVE PROGRAM.

when cancel button is clicked

WHEN c_value_canc.

LEAVE TO SCREEN c_value_0.

ENDCASE.

For the problem no 2, you have to create a title bar in the main screen using the set titlebar.

For the problem no 1, I don't think we have anything to do with the ALV GRID. It has to be created in the main screen as well.

Dear All,

Thankyou all for the quick responses. Finally the solutions is arrived. This is how I did it.

1. SE80 -> Function Group -> SALV

2. Expanded the GUI Status and right click on the status "STANDARD" -> Copy...

3. Given the copy to program name and status (as required for my program)

4. Went back to SE41 and activated the GUI status just I copied earlier step.

5. Updated my prgram with correct GUI status name in my SET PF-STATUS command.

6. Activated and Executed.

Finally the things are set now.

Thankyou once again all.

I can now close this thread as resolved.
