Hi friends,

I am using WSDL as my web services and calling SAP RFC FM to send some files, I would like to Debug and test the FM....

I have same user ID and pwd for both SAP login and WSDL credentials, activated external debugging to set some break-points..but whenever I run the external WSDL application(already logged into SAP n RFC FM session is ready with external break-points) there is no pop up of a different session with debugging.

I hope the above information helps in understanding my issue, please provide me the appropriate steps/solution to Debug an RFC FM which is called from a non-sap like WSDL application. good points will be given for sure.....

Thanks & Regards,

Santosh

hello santosh,

whatever procedure you are following is right...may be i would suggest 2 things here

1) In your FM , if you have message as your expost parmeter ,take 1 field message on your application say a ADOBE form...

and then may be you can bind this message to message in your export parameter of FM.

then just manually write say sy-subrc = '0'.

message = 'sucess'

else

message 'fail'.

and check what value of mesage you are getting on your adobe form after you execute..

i think either this wsdl application is not at all excuted or if you want to debug just try 1 or 2 more users and see if you can get into debug mode.

also let me know what code you are writting to execute your FM from WSDL application.

thanks
