Function module not getting copied

Hello,

I am trying to copy the std function module to a custom one, I went to SE37 selected the function module that I want to copy and then hit the copy button, then I gave the Z name to the function module but now I am getting the following message :

'Function module name is reserved for SAP'

Can you please help me on this.

I always get that, too....ignore so long as you're putting into customer namespace (Y/Z first character). May I ask why you are copying into Z version, instead of using the implicit enhancement points, usually at the top and bottom of each object?

Hi rajeev,

What you did is correct and all the function module names are reserved for SAP. So you please enter once the pop-up comes and proceed.
