While processing POs through bapi_po_change, I am getting this error as User -

already processing Purchasing document XXXXXXX,

please let me know what may be the reason?

It means that the purchasing document has been locked. It means that someone is in the change mode of the PO. Try reprocessing the same PO after a while and it should go through.

You can check the active locks using transaction using SM12.

Hi,

this cause: the user is locked (stuck), so it seems as if it is being processed by the user himself.

Analysis:

- T-code: sm12

- In "Select Lock Entries"

User name → fill in the username (example: xxxxxxxx)

- Press the "enter" button

The result is as below.

How to know the lock in the PO section from where?

You can look at the table and lock arguments.

EKPO → relationship with me22n (PO)

VBAK → open SO/DO (LIPS table)

no lock argu → PO number

Solution:

- In the "Lock Entry List" above

Click the refresh button. If it's still the same, then is the user's contact editing the PO? If not, then click one of the cell lock arguments, then delete.
