BAPI or Function module for ..lifnr,name1 from IMERK field...

Hallo All,

I need to know is there any BAPI or Fucntion module for getting vendor ID and Vendor Name(lfa1-lifnr,fa1-name1) based on Internal characteristic(KSML-IMERK) field.

its little urgent, If any one knows please help me..

Hi Murali,

You can try Function module : CTMS_GET_CHARACTERISTICS

Please use KSML-IMERK field and read table CAWN as ATINN = KSML-IMERK.

Then you will get Value maintained for that CHAR.

IF the Value is your Vendor No then use LFA1 to get the restof the information from LFA1.

but the first one

CTMS_GET_CHARACTERISTICS in the import fields i dint find IMERK FIELD..

2.Second one what is the field in CAWN table to link with LFA1 table after reading table CAWN as ATINN = KSML-IMERK.

Hi Murali,

Please check the Char. Value ay CAWN-AWART.

Function module doesn't have input field as IMERK. But it has ATINN which os same as KSML0IMERK.

Hi Lanka,

i used AUSP table with OBJEK and ATINN fields where KLART = 010 so that OBJEK value is vendor ID.

in CAWN table CHAR value is not able t match with vendor Id.

I thought you are using KSML for configuration data and based on that earlier I suggested to check in table CAWN.

You can use the followng function :
