Code Inspector Error : OBSOLETE ALV Approach Used

sap has given the " The message can be hidden using pseudo comment "EC OBS_ALV_REQD "

But it is not working for me....

can some one suggest how it works?

well not sure abt the functionality and requirement ..........

may be they are executing it on background ......(if i correct it oops alv and grid alv will not come in spool).....

i need to correct only errors and warings in code inspector...........

I am not suppose to change any thing

But prior to this you need to understand why you are getting the particular error ? Are you aware of the "why" ?

If you put the pseudo comment on the right line of ABAP code and in the right format, it will work...

"#EC * is really all you need to "hide" the row of code from the Extended Syntax Check, which appears to be turned on in your code inspector variant. If it didn't work, you put it in the wrong place.

Note that the #EC * must appear as the first characters in your comment, as I recall...you can put other information after.

However, as someone else already noted, remediation of anything flagged by the Extended Syntax Check is preferable to hiding it from the check.
