Blank Smartforms

Hi wonder if any of you could shed a bit of light on the following.

I have created a smartform to print out a plant maintenance order (from transaction IW32).

I print the order by selecting Order Menu -> Print -> Order.

If I click on the Print Preview button, then print it it prints fine.

However, if I just click on the Print/Fax button I get a blank form printed - all the table gridlines are there but no data.

Any ideas what's causing this?

Hi,

Check whether the printer name you are passing in yur driver program similar to the printer in which you are testing.

It happens regardless of which printer I am printing to.

hey Stuart,

i encounted similar proble while printing but it is instaed of blank i got total black

i may be the problem with the back ground or shading in the output options that is selected white colour with 100% saturation otherwise i may be problem with the printer drivers also

i changed these two things i changed the background which is black to saturation 0% and i tested in other printer i got the pefect one

k i think this info is somewhat helpful for u

Hi Stuart,

Please check any color assigned to your font and your printer may not able to print this.

Path : T/code : Smartforms~~> Style~~> Paragraph/Char Node~~> font~~> color --> remove color flag at check box.

Just to make it clear:

The smartform prints out perfectly, but only if it is previewed on screen first.

I therefor think it's not printer or driver related (as it also does it on any printer I use)

Hi ,

Are you selecting Print immediately check boX in Select Shop Floor Papers in T/code IW32.
