hi all,

i have a recording which is running fine as now .

in order to fulfill the requirement i have to add another screen to the existing recording . is it possible..??

if yes how..??

Hi,

Do the recording with SHDB for all screens, it will work.

Record the transaction using SHDB and take only that screen...paste that in your program.

i did it but its not triggering..!! while uploading it still asks for value i tht praticular screen..??

Hi,

Yes it is possible to add to the existing recording.

First do the recording till the end including that screen which you want to add. Make sure that recording contains all the fields of the screen to be added. For rest of the screens its not necessary to include all the fields.

Now say A is the screen that you want to add and this screen comes after screen B. So in the existing recording check for the OK_CODE of screen B and put your code for screen A from the new recording after that OK_CODE.

Abhilash, if you're working on a NetWeaver 7.0, and you are lazy and reckless, you may use the following code to re-record an existing BDC data. Freshly tested.

Note: before starting the recording, you may need to display the BDC data separately, so that to be able to re-synchronize with the existing BDC data after having recorded the new screen(s) (so that to be able to know which next action is needed). It may be also useful with list screens as the little okcode popup is not displayed in that case...

Hi Abhilash

I beleive Ruchak is correct.

suppose you have 5 screens initially and now you want to add the 6th screen as well.

now do the recording again including the 6th screen and check the OKCODE for the 5th screen to go to the 6th screen.

now identify the code where you need to put the OKCODE of 5th screen and after that write the code for 6th screen.

This will work.
