Error in date format while downloading it into excel

Hi Experts,

I created a report and when i download date from report to excel the date format is getting reversed.

FOR example Date in REPORT : 07//2010

IN EXCEL: 201007

Kindly give some idea to resolve this issue.

hello,

Please change the data type of date field to Character (C).

and pass the required date value.

It shouldl make correct output to excel...

Despite being a date question, I'm letting this one pass. But it's right on the border of what's acceptable and what isn't. If there's too much spoon-feeding, I'll lock it.
