Err While SQL Query Creation

Hi, I have Explored with SQL Query Scenario , Done all config with SQ03, SQ02, & SQ01........

and I Come Up with with following questions...

When i Joined using EKPO and EKKO , I am able to get output with desired selection and output field.

but when i tried MARC table with one customised Z table im unable to get Output. the Err was "No Data Selection",

but i gave the selection data (Primary key fields data), which was present in both Tables. but still its throwing same error

... So does it mean that we can use SQL query for Z Customised Table.

Plz have Look at this Problem..

surly, we can use Z-table in the SAP query.

Look at your key field types, check if the field type are the same as the join table MARC.

U mean to say, Data Element of Key fields or what?

I have checked all 3 table are having primary keys matnr and Werks, with same values also, but still im getting same error "No Data For Selection"

In SQ01 when im Clicking on output for Basis View , im getting desired output in right hand side ,,,,but not when im clicked on run query(F8).

Looking for ur answer.

Thanks for ur kind suggestion,now its wrking fine,

Now let me know, we R joining table , its a inner join.. .

But if i wanna make it as a Outer join then what is the Procedure,Where i have to make changes?

Hi vivekd,

In fact i am not quite familiar with the sap Query.

but I do know I a way to shwo with out join.

You should first create a Maintaince Viewwith se11(which is out join type).

then in you sap Query, you set this view as the data source.

Hi Vivek,

Just a small change, Maintenance views are created using inner joins, only view created using outer join is Help View.
