Reading Idoc segments and calling BAPI.

This is my scenario and need help from all experts here.

I have an Inbound Idoc to ECC sent by SAP XI.

I need to read the Idoc segments of the Idoc and call a BAPI(name already available) to create the Physical inventory document.

Once the field is generated ,it is then passed to the segment of the idoc.

Request if you could share some logic or any link that would help me come up with this.

Hi Sai,

There is a user-exit to modify the idoc when it is received in R/3, before of being processed.

What is the IDOc type/Message type?

U have to use a Exit (Find out exit for inbound of ur message type ) to read the segments from the inbound idoc and

populate ur values in R/3side.

After that u canm call the required BAPI.
