We are using classes CL_BCS and CL_DOCUMENT_BCS to send E-Mail with attached adobe print form. With method EDIT of class CL_BCS I send the user a screen where he is able to change title, note recepient and some other parameters.

When entering a note it is beeing attacheched in E-Mail as document with name Notiz but without any file-ending. Therefore it isn't easy to open the note. Does anyone know how to change the file-ending of this note to .txt.

Thanks in advance for any help

Christian

Hello,

1) you send a PDF file, ok, cool, but your question is total not-Adobe related, ask in ABAP general for example

2) i don´t understand why you attach a text file and do not put the note into the mail body, but that is your concern

3) you didn´t search for a second because there are so many sources about CL_BCS and you would not ask this question, please search first

Otto

Hello Otto!

We send Adobe print form with CL_BCS. When using standard methods of CL_BCS to change things like title, note or email-adresses before sending it the note that I enter there is attached as file Notiz without file-ending.

If you could explain how to enter the note into the mail text this would be a solution.

Kind regards
