Error : fieldsymbol not compatible with internal table

Hi all,

I am doing a select on z table and moving it to internal table t_final.

now i want to delete t_final - duplicates.. so before deleting i want to move ti to another internal tablw with same structure.

so i declared it as t_final1[] = t_final[]

now when i try to loop at t_final1 assigning <fs_final> ehihc is of type z table...

i am getting an error her as The line type of the table "T_FINAL1" is not compatible with field symbol type "<FS_FINAL>".

Please help on how to proceed.

Can u write the declaration of Field symbol as well as the table? Also the loop statement u r using...

SORT t_final BY icoso icosoitm.

t_final1[] = t_final[].

DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM t_final.

IF NOT t_billno[] IS INITIAL.

LOOP AT t_final1 ASSIGNING <fs_final>.

READ TABLE t_billno ASSIGNING <fs_billno>

WITH KEY vgbel = <fs_final>-icoso

vgpos = <fs_final>-icosoitm BINARY SEARCH.

IF sy-subrc = 0.

<fs_final>-icobillno = <fs_billno>-vbeln.

<fs_final>-icobillitem = <fs_billno>-posnr.

lv_lines = lv_lines + 1.

ENDIF.

ENDLOOP.

Hi,

Check the structures of t_final1 and <fs_final> which may be different.

I think you should read Rob's thread on how to ask an effective question.

If you provide half information, you wont get effective solution. Anyways is the table T_FINAL1 defined as a table of structure zgd_sd_t_billdat ? I am sure it is not hence the issue.
