Adding custom Fields to Sales Order

Hi friends ,

This is Sudhir. I need to add a custom field to sales order (tx code va01) . Do we any Enchancements for this. It will be helpful for me to procedd further.

Sudhir,

You have to append the structure to the table you want the additional field for. If field is for header data then append VBAK and if its for item then append VBAP.

If you want this to be displayed in the screen for input then you have to do a screen change and add the additional field.

If you want just to process some data from the standard feilds and then populate the additioanl field the you can use the userexit for doing the same.

For this u have to do the enhancement....first u have to find corresponding customer exit for VA01 , then u can do the enhancement..

Hi Sudhir,

If you want to add field at header level then first create a append structure to VBAK (Sales order header table)

and then add your own fields to screen 8309 or 8310 of SAPMV45A program &

If you want to add fields at item level then create append structure at item level (VBAP) and then add your own fields

to screen 8459 or8460 of SAPMV45A program.

And you can use include MV45AIZZ for PAI of your screen and include MV45AOZZ for pbo of your screen.
