outbound idoc error handling

hi,

I found that there is a standard task TS00007989 which is used to send the workitems for outbound idoc error handling.

This task is configured in WE40 against process code EDIO.

But this task is not getting triggered when outbound idoc procesed through WE19.

Can you please suggest me things that need to do to triggere outbound idoc error handling task.

Thanks for ur reply.

I went through that post.

there is a mention of report RSEWFERR which will trigger the task TS00007989. How this report gets called when outbound idoc fails. Do we need to do any settings to make sure that this report is called.

hi,

you can schedule this report in background in a required frequency when you want to trigger an error alert.

It looks like this report is called from another program.
